My love of dogs began as a young child and has grown at a steady pace throughout my entire life. 

My heart and home have been shared with Shetland Sheepdogs, Labrador Retrievers, Bouviers Des Flandres and Neapolitan Mastiffs.  

In more recent years, my interests have honed in on the West German Show Line German Shepherd Dog and, of course, on the amazing French Bulldog. 

Skills developed in my nursing career have blended well with my passion for breeding, whelping and raising dogs. As a result, our dogs and pups are lovingly and carefully nurtured with great attention to their mental, physical and emotional health.

Our mission at Middlecross Frenchies is to raise healthy, confident, beautiful pups for select, loving homes. 

As you can see,  we love the diversity in coat colours and patterns but our priority is truly the health and welfare of our dogs. In order to ensure healthy offspring all of our females are DNA tested. This information directs our matings and sets our litters up to be a thing of beauty on the outside and on the inside as well!

As you would expect, our litters are all raised in a temperature controlled setting in our home. When the newborn pups arrive back here at the Middlecross farm they are gently positioned to nurse from Mom every 2 hours around the clock. Pups are weighed twice daily to monitor their intake and development. They continue under close observation throughout their entire time here with their Mom but especially during these crucial, first weeks of life.

Here at Middlecross we believe raising puppies is an art and the masterpieces produced are our puppies. Don’t settle for a counterfeit when selecting your breeder. Your puppy’s health and happiness depends on it.
